The Venue of the Conference will be the magnificent King BhekuZulu Hall, which accommodates up to 5000 people. The dome-shaped King Bhekuzulu Hall is one of the largest of such structures in South Africa. Its space is ideal for academic and cultural events and can be transformed according to the nature and size of an event. A range of informative and entertaining events are regularly held here.

Travel

International delegates are encouraged to fly to King Shaka International Airport in Durban. It is preferable to arrive the 29th of September and leave the 5th of October. Transportation will be provided from/to Airport/Richards Bay upon arrival and departure. International delegates should submit their itineraries to Prof Sifiso Ntshangase @ sifiso.mgazi@gmail.com.

Local flights for National and Students will be arranged by UWC. All Students and National delegates should submit a copy of ID/Passport to Mogammad Kamedien @ mkamedien@uwc.ac.za, who will arrange return flight tickets for 29th September – 5 October.

King Shaka International Airport is the primary airport serving Durban, South Africa. Located in La Mercy, KwaZulu-Natal, approximately 35 km north of the city centre of Durban, it opened its doors to passengers on 1 May 2010, just over a month before the start of the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
